How to Clean Your Bathroom (Basic, EKTiedoll style)?

Image
Hi, guys! Welcome to another blog post! As the title suggests, I'll show you my way of cleaning the bathroom. Out of all of the house chores I do, this is probably what I consider my "greatest act". Don't worry, it's just basic; you don't need any high-tech gadgets or expensive cleaning agents. It's more of showing you what to do and where to start first. I'll assume that you have a bathroom identical to ours: lots of irregular surfaces, fixed/wall-mounted mirrors and/or glass holders, a wall-mounted sink, a bidet, a toilet paper rack, a shower rack for a shower curtain, and of course a showerhead and hose. Don't forget the toilet! I'll give additional notes after the instructions. Let's start! The bathroom before cleaning. Sorry for the low-quality image; because of this, I didn't bother to take a post-cleaning picture of the whole bathroom. Hi, guys! Welcome to another blog post! As the title suggests, I'll show you my way of clea...

Ang Huling El Bimbo, The Hit Musical (REVIEW)

Image
Screenshot from  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ-nLUHZt1k Last May 3, 2020, there was news that the hit Pinoy musical play, Ang Huling El Bimbo (trans.: "The Last El Bimbo"), will be aired 48 hours online via YouTube and Facebook; it will air from May 8, 12:01 AM until May 9, 11:59 PM for FREE. The news SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE ON MY FACEBOOK NEWSFEED. Every scroll I make, there was a link leading to an article with a headline about the musical play. As a fan of musical performance arts, I was also excited; I wasn't able to contain my excitement so I also posted a link on my Facebook timeline a link containing the news about it. Screenshot from  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ-nLUHZt1k The musical play is aired for free not only to entertain us but also to raise funds for the ABS-CBN Foundation's (a foundation run by a broadcasting channel here in the Philippines) Pantawid ng Pag-ibig Program (sorry, I don't know any proper translation for this), which helps poo...

The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011) (REVIEW)

Image
Hello, everyone! Since the quarantine will be extended up to May 15, and to add more variety to my daily routine (to be honest, I'm fed up with the same things every day) I decided to start binge-watching YouTube videos. Luckily, my aunt sent me a YouTube link of a theatrical play, The Phantom of the Opera , performed at the Royal Albert Hall in the year 2011. She said that it was a great play. It starred Ramin Karimloo (as the Phantom) and Sierra Boggess (as Christine DaaƩ). It was aired by the YouTube channel, The Shows Must Go On! for 48 hours. This was to help the charitable organizations earn funds by asking donations from those who will watch the play; this was done by adding a Donate button. The donation will be used to help those who were afflicted by the COVID-19. Even though I really don't have enough money, I really felt guilty about watching the play without donating. It's like I just took advantage of their kindness. I pray that they were able to collect more...

Search and Declutter Part 2

Image
Hi, netizens! Today, I continued my Operation: Search and Declutter. This time, it's my study table that I decided to clean up. I wasn't able to do the O: S&D in one day because I have to do more important house chores; besides, I want to do different chores every day so I won't get bored of doing the same chores, thus I decided to distribute the work throughout the days of the week. Am I just making an excuse so I won't be doing a lot in a day? Not really; in fact, if I'm not doing any house chores, I'm reviewing our past lessons in college. Yes, you read that right. I am a dedicated Accountancy student. ;-) Going back; so it's my study table's turn to be cleaned. Of all the things/spaces here in our house, my study table is the thing that I clean the rarest. There are lots of stuff here, jumbled in unspeakable chaos inside each drawer. There's no segregation; it's mostly like a what-fits-in-without-destroying-others-is-in way of puttin...

Search and Declutter

Image
What's up, guys! It's me, Emmy! Our community is still under quarantine so I'm not yet allowed to go out. Of course, I cannot just simply stare at our ceiling 'til the end of the day; I don't want to start seeing things that I don't want to see. I decided to do what I call Operation: Search and Declutter. It's been months since the last time I cleaned and fixed the room; our room starts to have a miniature version of the Smokey Mountain in Manila, Philippines. It's sorting time! MY GASH ABELGASH No, I didn't make it look messy on purpose; I'm too busy with the online exams to fix them. I started off with our closet. I realized that I have too many clothes inside. Dad, too, has SOOOOOO MANY shirts that he doesn't use (that's why I'm kind of mad at him; he always compels me to tidy-up the closet but he won't let me touch his clothes)! 'Ya feel me? Tha's good! Anyway; I started to withdraw my clo...

Class-From-Home

Hi, guys! This is my very first post for this blog. To know why I started this blog, please go to the About page. Anyways; thank the heavens for I am done now with everything I need to do! This week's been a HELL WEEK for all of us. Due to COVID-19, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte suspended classes on March 9, 2020, followed by a partial lockdown on March 12, then an "enhanced community quarantine" (it more look like a lockdown) of the entire Luzon region on March 16. This series of events led to the suspension of not just classes but also the operations of many businesses. Everyone, students and workers, was asked to do work at home for the safety of all. Social gatherings are a huge no-no. Catholic Masses are even done online! Still, the work-from-home solution was not that effective especially for those who are underprivileged. WOAH, WOAH!!! Ain't trying to be political here, it wouldn't be a good welcoming gift. Maybe next time? ANYWAY; so, yeah, given the situatio...
